• Juny – My little old man, who passed only a year ago. He was 18. His presence still lingers in corners where the sunlight is warm.
• Mel – A soft, fluffy boy who lived to the age of 20. Napped with complete conviction.
• Schnurli II – Sitting on newspapers was his way to show love. 21 years.
• Petzi – Affectionate and chaotic white floof. 19 years.
• Schnurli I – The first. The spark. The one who started it all. 16 years.

The Canine Guests

• Sheila I – Meant to be mine, but chose my father with full, unwavering loyalty. She stayed when I moved out — still guarding, still waiting.
• Sheila II – Came three months after Sheila I passed. She accepted the rest of us… but loved no one like she loved my dad. One time, she fainted from joy when he came home. Yes. Really.
